H. was Tinkerbell on Halloween ~
Posing on Thursday the first time she wore her costume to two parties ~
H. still striking more poses for Raising Maine moms ~
H. went to more than 25 homes to trick or treat in these heels! A woman after my own heart ~
Herb Ivy, aka the Captain of the Captain and Celeste from WBLM's morning team at his home where we joined his friends and foes alike in trick or treating in their neighborhood ~ a maze of culdesacs ~
My husband the GSM of WBLM and WCYY hugging Herb Ivy. Need I say more?
Deb Ivy, who's job I took over at WBLM, WCYY, WHOM and WJBQ where she worked for a number of years, aka Herb's lovely wife and gracious hostess, aka the most gorgeous witch in Maine!
I love the blood dripping down one side of Deb's chin! It was such great fun had by all!

Hahahaha...she trick or treated until she could not walk any more. Deb and Herb's neighborhood is literally a maze -- of culdesacs -- more branches of culdesacs I have seen in my lifetime. There were about 10-15 kids. So cute. H. was the only one in green! Easy for me to keep my watchful eye on.

My sister who H. calls Auntie Lala mailed a box and it contained everything she wore!!! My sister made my job easy and H.'s day a SWEET SUCCESS!!!! H. is so crazy outgoing as YOU know, and these first photos really captured her sweet expressions. She was almost humbled by the beauty of the shoes that fit perfectly and the blinking shoes with heels, the wings that lit up and well, everything... then, Saturday when she trick or treated she was so hysterical, showing me each piece of candy, "LOOK WHAT I GOT!" And being the youngest kid in the group, the home owners always said, "OH MY G --- LOOK AT THE LITTLE ONE!!!! SHE'S SOOOO CUTE!!!" And I taught H. to say "Trick or Treat Please" and "Thank You" and the people just loved hearing her say it. ;) OMG ... I'm reliving it now while I write!!!

H looks so cute in her Tinkerbell costume! I don't have any good pics of Halloween costumes this year - too much going on and wasn't feeling great to snag photos. But like H, Lucas was on the move to about 20ish houses this year for treats! We were in "Happyville" again this year ;)

Ahhhh, Happyville was a great year as well! Though we did not treck to as many homes as the maze of culdesacs the Ivy's have in their South Portland neighborhood. I feel bad that we never trick or treated in our own Pine Point area -- we could have but it just didn't work out this particular year. It's more fun in a group.

Lucas was Muno from Yo Gabba Gabba (the red bumpy one) and Olivia was Foofa (the pink flowery one). We did a group thing too with my best friend and her two-year old. It's so fun to see them start to "get" the trick-or-treating experience. They were both equally scared of one super decorated haunted house but luckily the mom came out into the yard to give them their candy instead. I think H has the right idea - Halloween is the best!

What's crazy fun is H. was invited to a Tinkerbell Birthday Bash next Friday. She's got her outfit ... just need a gift and we're good to go!!! I got the invite and thought, YESSSSS we're there. ;-) Can you imagine a group of 10-15 Tinkerbells? That'll be cute!
