Portland mom Cathy Jackson isn’t big on change, says Donna Temple, who nominated her best friend to win this month’s Raising Maine and Bei Capelli complimentary makeover. “Cathy is ultraconservative,” Donna said, adding that she wondered how much Cathy would allow a stylist to alter her appearance. “I figured that the worst that could happen is that she’ll love it!” Cathy, a busy mother of twin 4-year-olds and a 2-year-old, was delighted. “I wanted something new and fresh, a pick-me-up, a nice change.”
