My 3 1/2 year olds favorite Disney character is Mickey! Most things in his life are referred back to "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" and he calls on "toodles" often if he needs something! You should have seen his face when he opened a Christmas gift that was Mickey Memory. He was in awe! It would be wonderful to bring him to this show!

Our one and only real family vacation in ten years was to Disney World. Robby was only three and Aaron was five when we visited the Magic Kingdom, and it was indeed a magic visit for us all. Robby still talks of meeting Buzz Lightyear. Being a robot, he had to sign his autograph with a stamp, but somehow he was more exciting than ever framed by whimsy of Tomorrowland. To Robby, I think that Buzz and his Toy Story comrades embody all that is powerful about his childhood imagination. Buzz is a loyal friend, a brave force against evil and... WOW!... he's from outerspace, too.

My 3 year old son went to Disney on ice when he was 2 and every time he sees Mickey Mouse he talks about Disney on Ice. I know he would be excited to go again if we are lucky enough to win tickets. The end of January and beginning of February is a good time to find fun indoor activities. Thank you for the opportunity to enter this contest.

My oldest daughter is turning 5 on Feb 5th. We have been talking about the fact that it is her "golden birthday" and we should do something special. Both she and her 2 1/2 year old sister love all the Disney princesses and spend many days dressed up as "Cindalella" and "Sweeping Beauty" so I think this would be a very special way to celebrate her "golden birthday".

What a riot! Several of my kiddoes had an opportunity to go backstage with Disney on Ice several years ago and they both commented about the athleticism required to pull off the skating tricks. On a side note, both Falmouth Family Ice and Portland Ice Arena offer learn-to-skate programs in case your boys want to bring Buzz to life on a daily basis!!! lol

Funny you said that... my guys started lessons this Saturday at Portland Ice!! I haven't suggested wearing costumes to the lessons but it certainly would make for a good chuckle :)

My family and I were lucky enough to go last year year to Princesses on Ice...complements of my Mom! But sadly my daughter, then 2...almost 3 didn't enjoy it very much at all. My husband held her for most of the show. She had not been feeling well. After numerous doctors appointments that followed our trip to the most Magical Place on Earth (right in our own backyard) our daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She spent over a month in the hospital and endured two brain surgeries. While staying at the wonderful Barbara Bush Children's Hospital...the staff lavished her with Princess apparrel!! And everytime they did she talked about the Princeses on Ice! She had (and still does) have her favorite things! Mostly her Cinderella pillow with the little Gus Gus doll that she can pull out of his tea cup!! Thankfully BBCH had all the Cinderella movies!! That made our Maddie's stay there all the better! We would love for her to be able to see her favorite Cinderella and her friends, now that she has recovered and can enjoy the magical performance!!

My daughter is 5 years old, and her favorite Disney character is Ariel. My daughter says that "all humans are mermaids without fins". We would be so happy to be able to experience Disney On Ice, because its something that we have seen advertised but have never had the pleasure of actually going to. We had big plans for this winter - Disney was in our sights! My mother had wanted to bring my 2 daughters, myself & husband and all of their cousins, aunts and uncles to Walt Disney World for a big spectacular family vacation! We were so excited and then my grandfather got sick and has been in the hospital for over a month and we can't possibly leave for a trip to Florida right now. My mom needs to be here for her parents and of course we all understand - the trip will come later. And my 2 girls are young enough to have let go of the hopes of going this year pretty easily - but we're still sad it won't happen. We would love to bring the girls to Disney On Ice - they would be thrilled to see all their favorite characters - especially Ariel. It might not be the "real thing", but it is as close as we could come here in Portland Maine!

MommaLeslie says,
I would love to take my 3 year old grandson to his first big Disney Event. As life long fans of all that is Disney, I hope to share all the characters with him, as I did with my own four children. Mickey, is, and will always be my favorite. To me he stands for all that can be imagined. Our oldest, 25 and Mom to mygrandson had tigger as her favorite, and she was quite a bouncy thing as a young girl. Our second daughter loved Jasmine, and Megara from Hercules and is a fan of the femme fatale, even now as a college freshman, she will sit and watch a Disney Movie. My son, 15 identifies with all the "hero" characters, and especially Woody from Toy Story. My youngest, 14 loves them all as she loves EVERYONE, but is partial to Daisy and Donald Duck as they were presents on her Make a Wish Disney Cruise. We have been to Disney world 5 times and 1 Disney Cruise.
So, I would love to continue this with my grandson and have all his Disney lovin' grandparents, aunts and uncle share in the excitement!!
Thanks,
Ayden's Mimi

My son's favorite is Mickey Mouse, he is 2 1/2 and absolutely adores Mickey!! His room is decorated in Mickey Mouse from Mickey's clubhouse theme. My daughter on the other hand loves Ariel. Her room is decorated in the princess theme. They have been wanting to see this show, and we were suppose to be going to Florida in March, but due to the economy and financial reasons, we had to cancel the whole trip! My Daughter was quite disappointed. I was hoping to take her to the show because she loves Disney, but have been unable to purchase tickets due to finances. I would love to win some and suprise her and her brother, as I feel this economy issue is affecting them more than we think. Thank you

My 5 year old sons favorite would have to be Peter Pan. We have never had the opportunity to take our (5) kids to anything like this, because it is just not affordable for us. It's hard on my 5 year old especially, because I run a daycare, and the kids will always come in talking about how cool the shows were, and he can't understand why we never get to go. I would love for him and my other kids to experience just how awsome it is to see Disney on Ice. Not to mention, my husband and I would think it was pretty cool too. Thank you!!!!

My 2 year old daughter is a big fan of the princesses, especially Cinderella. She loves to twirl around with her arms out, while saying to me, "I love being a "pincess" Mama." She often asks her Daddy to twirl her, I guess she thinks he is Prince Charming too! She has never been to a Disney on Ice show and her birthday is coming up, January 25th. She would love it, but I think her father and I would love it more, to see her so excited.

My daughters world is Mickey Mouse. Her imagination is running wild where she thinks that our black dog with big ears turns into Mickey Mouse everytime the show is on. Because of Mickey Mouse's high pitched voice, my dog will howl and my daughter thinks "Mickey Mouse" is singing. She even pretends she is Mickey Mouse and puts headphones on her ears. She would be besides herself to see the real Mickey Mouse not just the pretend stuff.

All 3 of my daughters are just in love with tinker bell and Peter pan the rest of the crew is right behind them. Every time they have seen the option to see the show on ice they have asked me to take them. But i was a single teen aged mom and i have never been able to take them. I've never been able to afford it. I have always taken care of necessities first. They have always been well taken care of, but not much fun in the way of extravagant things. I have also been very sick for 12 years as well, so going back and forth to doctors did not help financially. NOW they are 12, 14, 15 and if they are actually still asking to go to a Disney on ice show, it actually just breaks my heart that i cant take them. Because they are not going to ask much longer. I want to be the one to make their wish come true and to spend that time with them. I've had 3 surgeries in 4 yrs and i'm having 2 more in the next month and a half. They have been through a lot in their young lives. Thanks so much Kristie Boulette

My 4-year-old daugter Natalie just loves the Disney princesses and Sleeping Beauty is by far her favorite. Her second favorite is a toss up between Belle and Cinderella. Natalie absolutely loves ice skating. She started her first skating lessons a couple weeks ago and is really excited about it. I would love to take her and her younger brother, Kaleb who is 2 1/2 to the Disney in Ice show. I am a single mom and even though I work full-time, with the cost of everything going up, I would be hard-pressed to be able to purchase the tickets. It would be such a blessing to be able to take them!

My son's favorite Disney character is most definitely Lightning McQueen! He is all about cars, especially loud, fast ones. I would really love to take him to see Disney on Ice. I currently work in the education field working with children with autism. I absolutely love my job! However, working in this field does not allow for "extras." What little money I make has to go entirely to our household. I would love to surprise my son with tickets to the show!

My little princess is 21 months and when she sees the commercial for it she runs the the t.v. saying "oh wow". We took her to Disney in June just before she became a big sister. She ran to pocahauntus (sp) and gave her a big hug and wanted her to pick her up. It was so cute. She also has to yell mickey whenever she sees him, which is quite a bit when we are watching Mickey Mouse Club House.

So I read the go section that said simba and nala were going to be there! We were lucky enough to take the boys' first trip to disney last year. The day we went to animal kingdom, it rained. We ran all the way to the lion king show and it was already in session, the next one not showing for hours. So we waited outside for the rain to stop, and it never did. So we ran in the rain to rain forest cafe and ate and drank. Oh, well. So much for seeing Lion King, and Simba and Nala. We won't be able go to Disney this year but if we won tickets, Nolan and Jack would finally see Simba and Nala! :)

I would love to take my 2 1/2 year old daughter Rosie to see her favorite disney charaters. She loves Mickey and Minnie mouse, plus all of the princesses of course! When she see disney's cinderella castle on tv she will ask if we can go there. It is so cute. I would love to take her to disney, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.
