What fun!!! My hubby and I were just talking the other evening about getting our 5 yr.old on a train as we've had to pick up relatives from the Amtrack station several times and he always points out the train waiting in the station. What an adventure it would be to take the two younger ones on an outing by themselves! We can make any of the dates and one actually falls around our wanna-be train engineer's birthday...puff, puff, toot, toot! Off we go!!!

This would be the perfect day for my 2 1/2 year old son! He is obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine. His bedroom could be mistaken for the Island of Sodor. He knows all the trains and we even have to sing all the Thomas songs before he goes to bed at night!

Well our newly adpted son would just love this. He has a small ridable Thomas the engine, and other Thomas items. However his new Thomas item is his ball. He loves the outdoors and this ball just adds to his day. Of course the biggest event this year for thsi 2 1/2 year old would be an honest togoodness trian ride on thomas. To add to this his sister yes we have her too, and both are great. She has just begun to read and she now is trying to read her Thomas books to him. She is 5 3/4 years and will be going in the first grade in September. Well her favaorite Thomas book is where he gets a chance to bring the school kids back from a trip with Bert the bus. So this would be a double home run for the two if them. THey have been through a lot and this would be great.

My daughter has recently been transfixed on moving anything.. cars, trains, motorcycles and loves the sounds. She also happens to love the color red and now that she is mobile and talking it is great hearing and seeing her joy. My husband works two jobs and I work full time also just to maintain our family, it would be great to indulge our daughter and help her enjoy the arts.

Yay, Thomas the Tank Engine! My 2-year-old LOVES trains in general and has a little Thomas the Tank to ride around the house with. After having my husband be unemployed for nearly 11 months now, we'd love to do something fun this summer! And thanks so much for giving all of us a chance to win these tickets.

My two boys ages 3 and 1 are always playing with our Thomas playset and we could really use a fun family day out to see one of their favorite characters and go for a great ride as I have been going thru a battle with cancer and times have been a bit tough. Something to lift all of our spirits.

My 5 YO is a HUGE train of fans and of course because Thomas is so cool he just adores him! He would be speechless if we could go and winning the tickts would be the only way we would be able to.
That is why I would love to win them, to take him as well as my other 2 children.

My 5-yr. old isn't into Thomas as much as riding a train. Isn't it funny how some kids just really get into an item while another doesn't? Good luck with the contest and welcome to Raising Maine!

My son will be 2 on August 4 and he loves trains! He says "choo choo" when he sees one. I know he would love this and it would be a nice birthday surprise for him. He has watched Thomas the Train several times and was fascinated by it. There are several fun family activities to do in Boothbay and it would be a wonderful family outing for us (husband, myself, birthday boy and 5 month old baby sister).

My little boy would just love to take a ride on Thomas the train and his little baby sister would as well. What great pictures we can take for their photoalbums! Plus, Mom and Dad could use a little mini-Maine vacation downeast- we have never been even though we were born and raised in Southern Maine! It is about time, don't you think?

I would like to win these tickets for my 3 year old daughter. She is obsessed with trains. We live in front of a train track and every day she runs out and screams she wants a ride. She asks me daily to take her 0on a trip 0n 0ne.. So to be ABle to tell her we are going on Thomas the Train, she would scream at me in disbelief.
I have never been one to win prices and I am always the one standing in line wandering how i am going to get through the week after taking my kids out to do something they begged me to take them too. But i promised myself that I would give them what i never had and that is more and to get out and have memories, so to be able to take them for once and not have that weight on my shoulers would be great, even if fo one dAY.

Summer is "Family Time" for us, as I teach full-time (and a part time job as well) during the school year. We've been waiting patiently for warm, sunny weather to get outside and enjoy the traditional summer activities-- and today we made it to the beach for the first time this summer! I'm looking forward to sharing more fun experiences with my 3 year-old son over the next few weeks- I know he'd flip if we got to ride on Thomas the Tank Engine! Of course, like many kids, he loves trains, and constantly plays with his Thomas toys. Riding a train would be so exciting, and give him a concrete, real-life (not to mention super-fun!) experience!

I would love to take my kids to see Thomas the Train! Lucas, my three-year old loves loves loves trains. He's been on a train-kick this rainy summer. And I feel like as a lifelong Mainer I shouldn't admit this, but I've never been to Boothbay... how terrible! This would be a great reason to escape and enjoy another part of Maine's beautiful coastline. Thanks!

We would love to read this! Our 2 year old is a huge train nut and LOVES Thomas. I feel like our house could be a train museum. I spent months tripping over his trains as his train table was in our kitchen! He would really love this experience!

This would be the perfect birthday present for my 3 year old:) He will be turning 3 on August 9th, this would be his dream gift. He loves trains, especially Thomas and Percy. He spends hours on end playing with his trains in his room, but to actually see Thomas in person would just make his year. He would love to win this day out with Thomas. He has a little brother who will be turning one this week and he is teaching him how to build track and line the trains up, this would be just a perfect birthday weekend for our family!

Wow there are a lot of folks who want these tickets, but I just have to say that Angus LOVES Thomas and he has been talking about going for a ride on Thomas again since we took him when he was two, and every year since, we just haven't been able to swing it. It would be great to be able to take Angus just us (Scott and I) and have a special day just with him!

This sounds like the perfect outing! My son is a huge Thomas fan and just adores trains. After having my second child this past winter his grandmother brought him on the Polar Express Ride, to give me some time. He still talks about it. I think if we were to win these tickets it would be a great gift for my oldest (who is turning 3 Aug. 4th) but also for the family. My husband is a workaholic, i think we could enjoy some family time. Thanks! Good luck to everyone!
