My parents have a great love for flowers and gardens. They have entered some local contests with flowers from their gardens. They have often talked about going to some of the public gardens in New England. They would be greatful for this gift package and could take my daughters, their grandchildren with them to teach them about gardening. I just checked out the web site to the garden in Boothbay. Looks very interesting. Thanks.

I have been here once before and it is just breathtaking. I would love to be able to go again! I have gardens of my own and I got a lot of ideas on my last trip. I also took some great pictures there, especially of the waterfall. I would love the opportunity to go again and take my 83 year old mother or my 10 year old son.

My four year old daughter and I love to work in gardens as well as visit gardens. She knows many plants already and often corrects her father as to what we have in our yard. I'm sure I would come away with many ideas. It would so much fun for our entire family to walk the gardens and maybe bring a picnic lunch to enjoy.

I cannot believe I came across this contest. My mother loves to garden and often visits different flower and garden shows. This is a gift she can enjoy with my father and her grandchildren. She never wants anything for Christmas and this would make a great unique gift. Thank you for this contest.

My 81 year old mother is an avid gardener. I've convinced her to move to Maine and she'll be coming up in the spring. What a great surprise this would be for her. We'll bring our daughter and it will be a great 3 generation outing.

My parents moved to the midcoast area to be closer to their 4 grandchildren, and this would be a great thing for them to do together! My mother can grow anything, no matter the soil! She'll even plant things she doesn't eat or want, just because the grandkids think it is fun to harvest (like finding "missing potatoes" in the fall.) I would love to give this to my parents!

My daughter shys away from organized team sports but her eyes light up when she gets to spend Saturday morning helping Daddy in the garden, adding her special touches, whether it be a hidden fairy house or pile of brush for the squirrels! A visit to the botanical gardens would be a special treat for us indeed and very appreciated.

We live in the midcoast area and we are always looking for adventures for ourselves and our children, especially ones where we can get outdoors and enjoy nature and expose our 2 daughters to new and different experiences. In this day and age of media and technology, it is so difficult to keep children engaged in new and different ways that get them off of the couch and instead become part of the world around them! My girls are only 5 & 6 and still open to all the new adventures we try to take on and so I would love the chance to instill this love of these beautiful gardens, and make it part of our family tradition to go there regularly. Thanks for the chance to win!

Sine moving to Maine nine years ago this month, I have become more and more in tune with the seasons, and more and more excited about gardening. My younger son shares my excitement and is usually by my when I tend to the perennial garden, herbs and mini-veggie patch. It would be a fabulous family treat to win these tickets!
