I'm not sure where in Maine "Gymboree’s" still operate - I used to belong to the one in So. Portland but it closed 2 years ago. However, it appears that there are many similar programs still around… like My Gym in Falmouth. I remember that Gymboree class and a visit to the Children's Museum were my "savings grace" back in the early days with a baby and a toddler. My kids seemed to love the balls, bubbles, and bouncing and I enjoyed connecting with other moms like me. Where do you go to "exercise" your baby, connect and meet other moms, and get some out-of-the house time?

My poor kids are deprived...no gym balls and fun colored balls and dancing around to kiddie music...instead, they get their exercise and mom/kid connections at wherever we are with the older kids! :)

We loved Gymboree and were so sad when it closed. My daughter had a blast there. I am hoping to take my 2 year old son to a mommy and me gymnastics program at Gymnation in the fall when my daughter heads to kindergarten.
