Quaid Guarino - Lego

I thought I would share a few family pictures of him. He received a contract via Lego in early April. He had to sign for it.

He does indeed have quite a few Legos and he does lots of chores and other activities to earn them. He is very aware.

NECN interviewed him on Friday. I thought you might like to see that news story.
Quaid Guarino on NECN

He has indeed thought of a totally new way to play with Legos. However, even if they don't like the idea, etc... the fact that Lego listened is amazing. He is one proud kiddo!!

Here's to all the kids and their ideas and cuteness :-) It makes the world smile :-)

We are BIG fans (or should I say investors?) in Legos... I read that he gets many of his off EBay - darn, why didn't I think of that?!!?... Well anyway, good luck to him in his first, but certainly not his last, entrepreneurial endeavor! Very cool stuff!

He buys the sets at the store or even from eBay and also buys bags of "spare parts" from eBay. Much cheaper.

Hi, they may never even take his idea into practice, but he will give Lego the idea on Thursday. He is doing everything himself with little help from us, supervised of course.

What great edification for an out-of-the-box thinker at such a young age. I'm sure someday we'll hear about some invention of his that changes the world :-) So great!

BestEverYou says,
He is definitely at out of the box thinker. He had one teacher in Kindergarten who refused to allow him to grow and step outside the box and he really hated Kindgarten and would cry and refuse to go to class because it was so boring. This year's teacher (and next) because they loop totally gets Quaid and keeps him challenged.

So will we be able to find out after Thursday or will it still be a secret?

top secret, sorry :-) The reporter in the NECN piece tried to bribe it out of him too. Won't work, LOL :-)

I saw the article but hadn't connected it to you. How exciting!! I'm thrilled for you both! Tell him I could use an agent when he gets done with this project, if he needs something else to work on, now that he's "connected" :) PS - The wall in his room (in the picture) is awesome. And he's adorable. What a great Mom you are!
