Softly, silently snow flakes fall
one by one by one....
little eyes awake to find
a delightful frosted morn
crisp footsteps in sweet soft snow
crunch, crunch, plop!
snow angels appear
snowballs fly, duck!
to our delight, or our dismay
the first snowfall is here!!!

OK, so maybe it was more like a wet almost rain/snow combination,
BUT! It did stick here in our neck of the woods and it was a beautiful
morning to wake up to. It will likely be melted by mid day....
The kids are excited and look forward to more.
Meanwhile, I am already dreaming of my bulbs nestled in theie beds for winter waiting to emerge in spring.
Girl Talk says,
WOW - no sticking in Scarborough... your photos are beautiful... And my opinion is that... if it's gonna be cold, there may as well be snow :-)

I heard we may hit the 60's over the w/e. This certainly put me in the holiday spirit. I came home and my Mother in law was playing Christmas carols.
