Flat friend almost eaten by pig

Scenario:

G. is taking pictures of her flat friends from New Zealand at Wolfe's Neck Farm after hiking at the state park.

Decides to stick the flat friends on the pen to get a shot with some Maine pigs.

Pigs sniff out the situation.

Pigs decide flats are suitable for eating.

Flats rescued by L. in nick of time.

That was a close call! Speaking of pigs, we went to an animal shelter yesterday and saw one pig, along with some ducks! They had a chicken coop, too. We were looking for a dog to adopt and stumpled on a barnyard! Turns out the shelter picks up all kinds of animals. Unfortunately, the dogs were liked were already spoken for. We will try again on another day. Cousin Lauren and fam send their best to the Mainard Cousins!
