Raising Maine

We had big plans for this winter - Disney was in our sights! My mother had wanted to bring my 2 daughters, myself & husband and all of their cousins, aunts and uncles to Walt Disney World for a big spectacular family vacation! We were so excited and then my grandfather got sick and has been in the hospital for over a month and we can't possibly leave for a trip to Florida right now. My mom needs to be here for her parents and of course we all understand - the trip will come later. And my 2 girls are young enough to have let go of the hopes of going this year pretty easily - but we're still sad it won't happen. We would love to bring the girls to Disney On Ice - they would be thrilled to see all their favorite characters - especially Ariel. It might not be the "real thing", but it is as close as we could come here in Portland Maine!
