Raising Maine

I was born in Washington State, moved to Guam after marrying Keith Richards (not the Rolling Stones) and settled into an old Victorian house in Fairfield, ME. Now, I'm trying to balance my aspirations for being a children's author with raising my two young boys. One of whom, keeps wanting to take over the world.

I used to be an elementary teacher, a counselor, a pre-school French teacher, and currently work with first-time drug and alcohol offenders and their parents in a program called Boomerang.

My family is scattered all around the world, so we're going it alone in Maine. I've been here 5 years and am very active in my community. I'm a horrible cook, but still volunteer to provide meals to new moms and families in crisis (even if they wish I wouldn't). Yep, I'm one of those.
