What are your family's favorite holiday cookies?

We love to bake in this home, especially for the holidays. Some of our favorites include sugar cookies with icing and candies as well as those peanut butter cookies with the chocolate kisses on top. What are your family's favorites?

My kids would say sugar cookies because they love to do the cut-outs. Snickerdoodles is a very close second though. ;)

My favorite cookies growing up are ones my Mom still makes to this day. Pecan Sandies aka mexican wedding cakes and chocolate pinwheel cookies.

Definitely the "Italian Bar Cookie" although I don't think I ever saw them in Italy! lol Almond-flavored soft layers (usually in the colors of the Italian flag) with preserves between them and a layer of chocolate on the top. My mom actually found a reduced fat/calorie recipe in this month's Weight Watchers magazine so I'll have to give the "new kid on the block" a try!
